Terms of Use

The rules for using divewp.com and how the free DiveWP plugin is licensed and provided.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website divewp.com (the "website"). The website is operated by Д Уеб ЕООД (The Web LTD), UIC (ЕИК) 203963391, VAT number BG203963391, with its registered seat in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, represented by its manager Oleg Petrov ("we", "us"). By using the website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Using the website

You may browse, read and share links to the website for personal and professional purposes. You agree not to:

  • use the website in breach of any applicable law;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or its administration area, or interfere with its security;
  • overload the website with automated requests or use it to distribute malware;
  • copy and republish substantial parts of the website's content as your own.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

3. The DiveWP plugin

DiveWP is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2 or later). It is distributed through the WordPress.org plugin directory, and downloading it from there is also subject to WordPress.org's terms. Your rights to use, study, modify and redistribute the plugin come from the GPL; nothing in these terms restricts them.

The optional AI Agent works with the AI provider you configure on your own WordPress site (Settings > Connectors). Your use of that provider is governed by its own terms, privacy policy and charges.

You are responsible for your website, including keeping current backups before you update, roll back or otherwise change plugins and themes. DiveWP explains what it detects and recommends changes; it does not replace caching, malware scanning, firewall, backup, SMTP delivery or full SEO tools.

4. No warranty

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", for general information. We work to keep them accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that they are complete, correct or always available.

As stated in the GPL (sections 11 and 12 of GPLv2), the DiveWP plugin is provided without any warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the plugin is with you.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, revenue or business, arising from your use of the website or the DiveWP plugin, including from acting on information or recommendations they provide.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

6. Intellectual property

The DiveWP name and logo, and the website's design, text and images, belong to us or our licensors. The GPL covers the plugin's code; it does not give you the right to use the DiveWP name or logo in a way that suggests that your product, service or website is ours or is endorsed by us. You may use the name DiveWP to refer to the plugin accurately.

WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation. DiveWP is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the WordPress Foundation.

The website links to third-party websites, such as WordPress.org and Facebook. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you continue to use the website after a change, the updated terms apply.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the competent Bulgarian courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
